Fiat plans 150 dealerships by December 2014

Steadily working its way up on the sales front, Fiat India has been ramping up its dealer network in India after their split with Tata Motors. Fiat currently has 108 dealerships in India, and is looking at opening up 150 sales touch points by December 2014.

The Italian company has also registered an 88% hike in revenues for FY14 with net sales of Rs. 3,863 crore as opposed to Rs. 2,052.9 crore in FY13. Fiat has also managed to sell more number of vehicles last year and with newer products to offer now, the company is hoping for a even higher sales number for FY15.

Fiat recently launched the Avventura crossover which received a decent number of bookings soon after the launch. The Punto Evo was launched before the festive season and even the Linea sedan was given a facelift sometime back.

Moving forward, Fiat will launch the 500 Abarth in a couple of months and also bringin the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Cherokee in 2015.
