Reports are suggesting that the Fiat Avventura has already garnered over 300 pre-launch bookings. If this is true, the Avventura will be considered as popular as the other two products from the Fiat stable are. Not that these sell in big numbers, but for a new car to match their much established siblings is a commendable job.
With the launch of the Punto Evo, Fiat has seen some spike in the sales numbers and the Avventure seems to follow the same path with these pre-launch booking figures. For a company which used to sell a combined total of under 1,000 units in a month, 300 units being booked before the actual launch should be quite a relief.
The Avventura is basically a Punto Evo with a more muscular body kit. It also has a uniquely mounted spare wheel on the boot which adds to the SUV-ish character. Powering the Avventura is a 1.4L Fire petrol and a 1.3L Multijet diesel motor both of which churn out 90 horses of power.
