Evolet AI-enabled e-scooters launched at INR 39,000 onwards

A new brand has entered the electric two-wheeler market in India. It is raining EVs and Rissala Electric Motors Pvt. Ltd. have introduced Evolet e-scooters in our market. The products were revealed by Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport along with Bollywood actoress Ms. Urvashi Rautela. Rissala have launched the Polo, Derby, Pony and Warrier models in India and are positioned in the range of slow speed as well as fast speed EVs.

Rissala is planning to have a phased launch for the new Evolet e-scooters with Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan being identified as the initial marketplace. The e-scooters will then be made available across India in nearly 2 months time. The scooters range between INR 39,999 – INR 59,999. The brand has set up a manufacturing unit in Bilaspur, Haryana spread across 1,00,000 sq.ft.

The Polo is a light weight electric scooter with Italian styling flare for those looking for short distance riding. This would offer a range of 60 km with a top speed of 25 kmph in 1 full charge. There will be Polo & Polo EZ variants on offer with a 48 V/24 Ah VRLA battery and 48 V/24 Ah Lithium Ion Battery.

The Derby is an electric sports motorcycle which will also offer a 25 kmph top speed with a 60 km range being offered with a 60 V/30 Ah VRLA battery on the Derby EZ priced at INR 46,699 and 60 V/30 Ah Lithium Ion Battery on the Derby Classic priced at INR 59,999.

The e-scooter Polo Pony comes with a 250 watt power from a BLDC waterproof motor with a range of 60 km and 25 kmph top whack. This again will be sold in Polo Pony EZ & Polo Pony Classic variants.

The quad-bike Warrior is interesting with a 50 kmph top speed and 50 km riding range from a waterproof BLDC motor with 3,000 watt power. Also it will offer a reverse speed of 20 kmph. This model has been priced at INR 1.40 lakh and has a 72 V/ 40 Ah Lithium Ion Battery.

With the Evolet app, the scooters will have connected technology allowing a lot of data to be accessed and analyzed by the user. A fast charger will be optional which will allow for full charging in under 3 hours.
