Italian premium superbike brand Ducati has launched the Scrambler 1100 ‘Dark PRO’ edition in the European market. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO is priced starting GBP 12,490 in the United Kingdom. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO is the entry-level point, designed to be further customised. The Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO comes with an exclusive Dark Stealth colour, a combination of Matte Black and Anodised Aluminium.
The Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO is powered by the same Ducati Scrambler 1100 family engine, a Euro5 emission-compliant 1079cc L-Twin-Cylinder air-cooled 2-valves per cylinder with Desmodromic distribution that produces 86 Hp of power and 88 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission with hydraulically controlled light action wet multi-plate clutch. The Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO is underpinned by the same mechanicals that comes with the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO. The Dark PRO features a 45mm USD Marzocchi suspension system at the front and Kayaba at the rear. The Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO also gets 320 mm double disc with Brembo Braking System on the front and 245mm single disc on the rear equipped with a Bosch Cornering ABS as standard equipment.
In the electronics package, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO comes with three riding modes – Active, Journey and City, Cornering ABS and Ducati Traction Control (DTC). The Scrambler also gets new multi-function switchgear, a Ride by Wire throttle and digital instruments cluster.
The brand has not yet announced if it plans to introduce the Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO in India but the Italian manufacturer recently launched the Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro at the price of INR 11.95 lakhs and INR 13.74 lakhs respectively ex-showroom pan India. Bookings on both the Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro are now open across all Ducati dealerships across the country. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro are the first BS6 Ducati Scramblers in the Indian market. The 1100 Pro comes with a new “Ocean Drive” colour scheme and the 1100 Sport Pro features a “Matt Black” paint scheme.
