Euler Motors with Magenta to deploy 1,000 HiLoad EVs in India

Euler Motors, under its partnership with Magenta, will deploy 1,000 HiLoad EVs in the country. As a part of this, Euler Motors will deploy these 3-wheeler cargo vehicles in and around Bangalore. And in the next 12 months, Euler will deploy them in other regions as well. Currently, over 400+ cargo transport services are operating these cargo vehicles. The role of Magenta is to oversee customer deployments and also support credit access for EV financing for drivers. Meanwhile, Euler Motors will cater to vehicle deliveries and service support via its full-stack ecosystem. Currently, the key target cities for deployments include Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore, amongst others.

Magenta’s Success Story

With the demand for electric vehicles reaching new highs, the trend is the same for three-wheelers as well. Magenta is an important player in the market that aims to enable clean mobility in the country. This collaboration with Euler Motors represents the perfect step towards its goal. Magenta is proactively adding an environmentally friendly electric fleet to address the ever-increasing need for last-mile logistics and transportation.

Euler Motor has already commenced deliveries for Magenta. The first batch of 20 units of HiLoad will be delivered this week. The company has received an overwhelming response both from institutional as well as retail and fleet owners. Given the rising demand, Euler Motors has announced an outlay of INR 200 crores towards capex, thus increasing production to 35,000 units per annum.

Euler HiLoad – A Brief Overview

This three-wheeled electric vehicle will mainly accomplish last-mile delivery services for various fleet and logistic companies. Powering the EV is a three-phase induction motor with 10.96 KW on the Delivery Van trim and 7.1 KW on the Pickup Van trim. The torque output is the same at 88.55 Nm for both motors. In terms of performance, the cargo can reach a top speed of 42 kmph. In terms of range, we can expect somewhere around 151 km for the DV trim and 129 km for the PV trim. But as per Euler, the Cargo EV will return a true range of around 110 km.
