ETO Motors starts operation of 50+ Electric Three-Wheelers in Kevadia, Gujarat

ETO Motors, India’s one of the emerging electric mobility solutions partners, have commenced the operation of 50 electric three-wheelers in Kevadia. This is in partnership with The Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Authority. The long terms plan is to deploy over 350 electric vehicles over a period of the next six months. In June 2021, Hon. Prime Minister announced his vision to make Kevadia the country’s first electric vehicle city. As a part of this, the city is witnessing an influx of electric vehicles.

A host of EV companies, including the likes of major players like Tata Motors, have started adding their services. SOUADTGA has set up plans in a phased manner to achieve the target of making Kevadia, the country’s first electric city. Going forward, Kevadia will have only electric vehicles plying on the roads.

ETO Motors Plans For Kevadia

The entire fleet of 50 TriLux Electric Three Wheelers will have women drivers. ETO mentioned that these Electric Three Wheelers would cover the entire city of Kevadia. These women drivers will follow the theme of “Mai ETO Bhi Chalaungi Aur Ghar Bhi”, which translates to “I will run my home as well as ETO”. And this perfectly resonates with ETO’s vision of 3Es’ Environment, Employment and Empowerment. These electric vehicles are a great opportunity as a source of employment for women.

ETO Trilux – A Brief Overview

With the growing influx of three-wheeler electric vehicles in the country, TriLux aims to make a mark in the segment. ETO Motors claims that TriLux gets a host of advanced features to differentiate and stand out from the crowd. The key features include, Safety belt for both passengers and drivers, an ergonomically adjustable driver seat, Rear Crash Guard. Supporting the chassis are 13-inch wheels and a sturdy suspension along with the longest wheelbase in the industry. The riding range of vehicles is 138 km, which ETO Motors claims as being one of the highest among most electric vehicles.
