EICMA 2024! Ultraviolette reveals new Concept X electric motorcycle

Bangalore-based electric vehicle manufacturer Ultraviolette unveiled its latest creation, the Concept X electric motorcycle at EICMA 2024. This new model is designed to offer a versatile and rugged riding experience, combining advanced technology with a bold design.

Ultraviolette Concept X

The Concept X is based on the platform of Ultraviolette’s existing F77 model but takes a more adventure-focused approach. The motorcycle features an upright riding stance, a single-piece handlebar, and a tall fender, making it well-suited for both on-road and off-road adventures. The design includes tank extensions, an exposed battery pack with a crash protector, a belly guard, and a narrow single-piece seat.

In terms of hardware, the Concept X is equipped with golden USD front forks, a monoshock, and a front and rear disc with ABS. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in road-oriented tyres, providing excellent grip and stability.

While Ultraviolette has not yet revealed the full specifications of the Concept X, it is expected to share many features with the F77 Mach 2, including a powerful electric motor and a high-capacity battery pack. The Concept X is still in the early stages of development and may take some time before an official debut.

Official Comment

Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder and CEO of Ultraviolette, commented on the unveiling, saying, “Ultraviolette is on a journey to create an extensive lineup of electric vehicles that cater to a global audience. The Concept X represents our bold approach towards blending form and function with an uncompromising vision towards advanced motorcycling experiences.”

The Concept X is part of Ultraviolette’s broader vision to revolutionize the electric vehicle market with high-performance options. The company also showcased its F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle and the F99 Racing Platform at EICMA 2024, highlighting its commitment to innovation and performance.

The Concept X once produced will be the first electric motorcycle in India that is designed for adventure touring and off-roading. Should be exciting to see what the production model has to offer.
