EICMA 2024! Hero MotoCorp reveals refreshed Mavrick 440

Hero MotoCorp has reveled the refreshed Mavrick 440 at the EICMA 2024 in Milan. The updated version of Hero’s flagship motorcycle comes with plenty of changes in the mechanical as well as the electronic department. The motorcycle now comes with USD front forks as well as TFT display. In addition to this, the displayed model was showcased with a new colour theme. However, Hero has not yet announced when the new Mavrick 440 will arrive on Indian streets.

What’s New?

The Hero MotoCorp Mavrick 440 showcased at the EICMA 2024 features a new grey colourway. This new theme features black stripes on the side of the fuel tanks as well as the tank extensions. The tank also features a chrome MAVRICK emblem on both sides. In addition to this, the engine block is finished in black and the block cylinder head features a machine finish. The lower crankcase has been finished in a golden shade.

Mechanical Changes

The new Upside Down front fork suspension also comes with a golden finish. This is a new feature compared to the right side up telescopic fork which is available on the current Mavrick 440. The new USD suspension also adds to the overall look of the motorcycle which now appears beefed up on the front. However, reports reveal that the new Mavrick with the USD suspension is actually 2 kgs lighter than the current model.

Electronic Changes

The new Hero Mavrick 440 displayed in Milan also gets a new TFT display. This is likely to have been borrowed from the Harley-Davidson X440. However, the inner workings on the display are likely to be specific to the Mavrick 440. Apart from this, the new Mavrick 440 is likely to be similar to the current model. It is likely to use the same 440cc single-cylinder air-oil cooled engine that produces 27 Hp of power and 36 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
