EeVe India, an electric mobility solutions company unveiled two new electric two-wheelers built for the Indian market at the Auto Expo 2020. The two electric two-wheelers are called Tesoro and Forseti. Tesoro is a small-sized electric motorcycle and Forseti is an electric scooter. The Tesoro e-bike and the Forseti e-scooter are scheduled to be launched in June 2020.
In terms of its design features, the Tesoro electric motorcycle comes with projector LED headlamps, a small flyscreen upfront, upside-down front forks, disc brakes on both the wheels, a semi step-up seat, 14-inch alloy wheels shod in 120 section tyres on both wheels, a full digital instruments console, aluminium machine-finished passenger grab rail, etc. The showcased Tesoro was red in colour with race livery and the company is expected to launch the Tesoro with additional paint themes apart from the red.
The Forseti, on the other hand, features a neo-retro theme and the design appears to be inspired from Italian scooters. The Forseti electric scooter gets a rounded LED projector headlight with a piano black bezel, two long vertical race-stripe-like LED strips on the front fascia that act as the daytime running lights, body-mounted turn signal lamps, LED DRL on both the side panel along with the ‘Forseti’ moniker, a flat bench seat, LED tail lamps, 12-inch alloy wheels shod in 90/90 section tyres on both wheels, under-seat luggage compartment, digital instruments console, etc.
EeVe did not reveal any details about the powertrain of both these two-wheelers, but they are likely to come with 60V 3000W hub-mounted Bosch electric motors coupled to a Lithium-Ion battery pack that is expected to provide 100+ km of range on a single charge with 80-100 kmph top speed on the Tesoro electric motorcycle and 100+ km of range on a single charge and 65+ kmph top speed on the Forseti electric scooter.
Apart from these two new electric two-wheelers, the EeVe pavilion showcased four other electric concept scooters that address different personal and commercial applications such as food delivery, heavy-duty hauling etc. EeVe also showcased their four scooters that are currently in the retail market called Xeniaa, 4U, Wind and Your.
