Indian Automotive start-up, Earth Energy launched 3 electric two-wheelers Glyde+, Evolve R & Evolve Z in the Indian market at the starting price of INR 92,000 for the Glyde+, whereas the Evolve Z and Evolve R are priced at INR 1, 30,000 and INR 1,42,000 respectively. (Ex-Showroom Prices). The Earth Energy EV has a 7000 sq ft R&D centre in Vasai near Mumbai and domestically manufactures its Lithium-Ion batteries.
The Earth Energy Glyde+ which is the entry-level model from the brand features a design inspired from an Eagle and aims to provide sporty looks as well as comfort, space and agility. The Glyde+ scooter is powered by a 2.4W electric motor that can propel the EV to a top speed of 60 kmph. The brand has not yet announced the range of the e-scooter.
The Evolve Z is a diamond-inspired sporty motorcycle that features a futuristic design language and comes with an angular headlamp with stacked LED clusters, a small flyscreen, sharp tank shrouds, bench-style seats with a sharp tail end, telescopic front fork suspension and spring-assisted twin rear shock absorbers as well as alloy wheels. The electric motorcycle is powered by a 96 AH/ Li-ion Battery that claims to return a range of 100km on a single charge and comes with an electric motor powerful enough to traverse 15 degrees of grade ability.
The Evolve R electric motorcycle is said to be inspired by Arrowhead and features muscular design features. The Evolve R has an easy-riding posture and comes with butch looks. The electric motorcycle features a rounded headlamp, wide relaxed handlebars, a small flyscreen, muscular tank panels, a scooped seat, telescopic front fork and twin shock absorbers on the rear. The company claims that the Evolve R can be charged to full capacity in just 40 minutes with its fast charge facility and returns a range of 110 Km on a single charge.
All three electric two-wheelers are offered with three colour options – Marshal Grey, Jet Black, and White. The entire range is also offered with an LCD display with dark and light mode, Battery State Of Charge, real-time range, TBT (turnabout time), automatic headlight, an integrated smartphone app that shows live navigation status, incoming calls/messages alert, trip history, etc.
