Italian luxury motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has announced that it will introduce 11 new motorcycles in 2022 for the Indian market. Ducati India will begin its plans by launching the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro and the Panigale V2 Troy Bayliss Edition. Currently, Ducati India has opened bookings for both upcoming bikes and will resume its DRE activities across the country. This includes the brand’s DRE Dream Tour in Rajasthan during January, along with more events on racetracks and Off-Road adventures.
Throughout 2021, Ducati launched 15 new models in India, including its ultimate superbike, the Panigale V4 SP. Along with the Scrambler 1100 Pro and the Multistrada V4 S adventure bikes, the brand launched the Ducati Monster. Ducati introduced its highest-selling bikes worldwide for India, including the Streetfighter V4, the Ducati Multistrada 950, and the Multistrada V4. Overall, Ducati India stated that 2021 was a successful year and promised immense excitement for 2022 with brand new launches.
During the first quarter of 2022, Ducati India stated that it would launch the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro. The brand will then continue the quarter by launching the Panigale V2 Bayliss Edition, which uses a special livery. The livery has been inspired by the 996R, which Troy Bayliss used to win his first championship title in 2001.
Ducati India will then launch the Multistrada V2, which now features redeveloped ergonomics, weight reduction, and engine updates. Following the Multistrada V2 is the new 2022 Scrambler 800 Urban Motard which features a Star White Silk colour scheme. Ducati has also ensured to add in its GP ’19-inspired Red and black graphics for the Scrambler 800 Urban Motard.
In Q2 2022, Ducati India will launch the new Streetfighter V4 SP, which is lighter than the Streetfighter V4. The brand will then follow this up with the new MY2022 Panigale V4, which will feature a host of changes. With an easygoing ride and improved racetrack performance, Ducati will then launch the 2022 Streetfighter V2, which combines sportiness and comfort.
As the final bike for Q2 2022, Ducati India will launch the new Multistrada Pikes Peak adventure cruiser bike. Being the fastest Multistrada ever, the new bike will feature the XDiavel Poltrona Frau by collaborating with an Italian furniture brand. For Q3 2022, Ducati India will introduce the MY2022 Panigale V4SP with new aero, revised suspension, and chassis geometry. Ducati will then launch the new DesertX, which is also the first Ducati to use a 21-inch front wheel.
2022 will also see Ducati expanding its dealerships and improving its Ducati Cares Program by adhering to Covid-related safety protocols. Ducati India has opened bookings for its two bikes across Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad.
