Ducati Streetfighter V4 gets performance accessories, it’s never ENOUGH

Ducati has revealed the accessory line-up for the 2020 Ducati Streetfighter V4. The Ducati Streetfighter V4 is powered by a Desmosedici Stradale, V4, 1103cc, liquid-cooled mill that makes 208 HP of power @ 12750 RPM and 123 Nm of torque @ 11500 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper assist clutch. The Streetfighter weighs on 180 kgs (178 kg on the Streetfighter V4s model and the new accessory line-up unlocks more performance potential and lightens the motorcycle even further.

The new accessory lineup from Ducati includes an advanced complete racing exhaust from Akrapovič based on the exhaust system of the Panigale V4 Rs used by Davies and Redding in the World Superbike Championship. The exhaust system is made using special titanium alloy that considerably lowers the weight and provides greater resistance to higher temperatures. The exhaust system is supplied with customised mapping that adjusts all parameters for DTC – DWC – DPL and Slide on Demand. On the Streetfighter V4, the system reduces 6 kg of weight and adds up to 6% of power and torque.

Following the exhaust system, the accessory line-up continues with forged magnesium with a race-inspired 9-spoke rim type-approved for single-seater use with technical racing features. Compared to aluminium version the forged magnesium rims come with a 14% reduction in weight and 16% reduction in inertia making the motorcycle more agile and optimize the riding performance.

The performance can be further enhanced by STM EVO-SBK clutch made from billet aluminium with housing and 48-tooth plate pack with 9 driven and 9 lined plates that provides a more effective slipper function that enables more aggressive downshifts. The dry clutch system also benefits from the absence of resistance from engine oil and the clutch dust does not get into the lubrication circuit.

The accessory line also comes with adjustable footpegs from Rizoma adjustable in six positions, made of high quality anodised aluminium alloy. The footpegs also come with fold-away brake and gearchange pedals to minimize the risk of breakage in the event of a slip. The footpegs use the standard DQS, which can be configured both as a traditional shift and as a reversed/racing shift. The new Streetfighter V4 also gets a bat-shaped, matte-finished carbon fibre tank cover enhancing its looks.
