Ducati has launched the MY22 Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro in the Indian market. The brand has revealed that the new Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro comes with a price tag of INR 12.89 lakh ex-showroom. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro is a special motorcycle paying homage to the history of the air-cooled twin-cylinder engine. The special edition motorcycle also features a unique “Giallo Ocra” livery with a black frame and sub-frame along with brown seat upholstery. The brand reveals that the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro targets modern-classic motorcycle enthusiasts as well as Ducati motorcycle aficionados.
Ducati first introduced the air-cooled twin-cylinder engine on the Ducati 750 GT in 1971. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro pays homage to the five-decade-old history of Borgo Panigale through the choice of a fascinating “Giallo Ocra” livery. Ducati used this livery on the twin-cylinder 450 Desmo Mono and 750 Sport of 1972. This also reverberates with the 750 Supersport used by the Spaggiari team since 1975. The livery is also accompanied by the start of the epic period of another great Ducati rider: Franco Uncini. Ducati has also added further styling details to the celebratory livery such as the 1970s Ducati logo, black spoked wheels, circular rear-view mirrors, and a brown seat with dedicated stitching.
Powering the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro is a 1079cc L-twin engine with desmodromic valve distribution and air cooling. The engine produces 86 Hp of power and 90 Nm of torque. The motor comes with belt covers in machined aluminium 3 Riding Modes (Active, Journey and City), cast aluminium swingarm, twin side exhaust and 18-inch spoked wheels at the front and 17-inch at the rear. The spoked wheels are shod in Pirelli MT60 RS tyres optimized for the Ducati Scrambler. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro comes with Cornering ABS and Ducati Traction Control as standard.
