Ducati has launched new Scrambler 1100 motorcycle in India and it is now available in 3 variants starting with a INR 10.91 lakh ex-showroom price tag. The Scrambler 1100 costs INR 10.91 lakh, the Scrambler 1100 Special costs INR 11.12 lakh and the Scrambler 1100 Sport costs INR 11.42 lakh.
Taking styling cues from the 70’s Scrambler, the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 is similar overall to the smaller Scrambler sibling already on sale globally. A regular old-school looking motorcycle, this will be available on sale across all Ducati dealerships starting today.
Powering the Ducati Scrambler 1100 variants is a 1,079cc, L-Twin, Desmodromic, air-cooled motor producing 86 HP of power and 88 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. This is over 250cc compared to the smaller Scrambler sibling but the power and torque figures are not separated by a huge margin. The bike gets a new front and rear shock absorber, 320mm dual front disc brakes, bigger seat, ABS, traction control, riding modes (Active, Journey & City).
The Ducati Scrambler Special comes with spoked rims, lower handle bars, chrome exhaust headers, tan seat, brushed swing arm.
The Ducati Scrambler Sport comes with Ohlins suspension and machine finish on the wheels.
The standard Ducati Scrambler 1100 is available in yellow and black colour options. The Sport and Special variants come in a Viper Black and Custom Grey paint respectively.
