At the beginning of August, Ducati announced that it will reveal 7 new motorcycles. And now, the brand has revealed the first of 7 new motorcycles, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini. Ducati will unveil the next bike on 15th September 2022. The Italian exotic bikemaker’s Episode 2 is called ‘Ready For More?’.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini is a numbered, limited edition model that draws inspiration from the Lamborghini Huracan STO. As such, it gets a similar paint scheme and incorporates a host of design touches from the track-focused V10 supercar. The latest addition to the Streetfighter family is uncompromising, bold and has in-your-face styling.
Ducati will produce only 630 units of the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini. In addition to this, Ducati will also make 63 units of the bike exclusively for Lamborghini owners. Each of these 63 bikes will be configurable by customers to match the colour option and wheels with their existing Lamborghini. There will also be brake calliper and saddle colour choices available to match.
To further celebrate the collaboration with Lamborghini, Ducati also released a special-edition helmet, leather jacket and a leather race suit to go with the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini’s colour scheme.
Pricing for the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini starts at USD 68,000 MSRP, while the special 63 units for the Lamborghini owners, which Ducati calls ‘Speciale Clienti’, will start at USD 83,000 MSRP. If converted to INR going by today’s rate, it will cost INR 54.32 lakh and INR 66.31 lakh for the Speciale Clienti. Moreover, these prices exclude taxes.
The Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini comes in the special Verde Citrea & Arancio Dac livery, which it directly borrows from the Huracan STO. It also features Ducati Lenovo MotoGP rider Francesco Bagnaia’s number – 63. This number is also featured on the new helmet and leather jacket, and race suit.
Mechanically, the bike uses the Streetfighter V4 S as its base. But apart from that, it gets a host of changes and lightweight carbon fibre bits. The forged rear wheel design is identical to the one on the Huracan STO. It also gets a titanium locking nut with a Lamborghini design. Everywhere you would lay your eyes on this bike, you will find carbon fibre. These include front and rear fenders, tank cover, belly pan, rear seat pad, heel guards, TFT dash cover, ignition cover and rear sprocket protector. Completing the look and adding to the sound of the limited edition model is a titanium Akrapovic exhaust system with a carbon fibre endcap.
