Ducati reveals New Multistrada V2 adventure motorcycle

Ducati has revealed the new Multistrada V2 in the international market. The Multistrada V2 continues the evolution of the adventure motorcycle range targeting new riders wanting to start adventouring. The new adventure motorcycle will also come with a 35-kW version for A2 license holders. The Multistrada V2 also comes with the latest technological advancements in the engine and a remarkably complete electronic package. The brand also revealed that during the developmental phase, Ducati worked on ergonomics and weight reduction. Ducati follows the philosophy of “continuous improvement”, which has led to a weight improvement of 5 kgs compared to the Multistrada 950.

Ducati Multistrada V2 – Design Highlights

The Ducati Multistrada V2 follows the hallmark adventure styling, consisting of a sharp beak and twin LED headlamps. The Multistrada V2 also features a clear glass windscreen that offers the rider protection from wind and weather. The bike also gets knuckle guards integrated with front turn indicators. The motorcycle comes with a muscular fuel tank and wide radiator shrouds. The bike features a wide and ergonomically designed seat for both the rider and pillion. The adventure motorcycle also comes with an integrated grabrail for the pillion with a top-box mount. The brand also offers an upswept exhaust.

Ducati Multistrada V2 – Engine Specifications

Powering the Multistrada V2 comes with a Ducati Testastretta L Twin engine with a displacement of 937cc. The liquid-cooled four-valve engine comes with a Desmodromic valvetrain that produces 113 Hp of power and 96 Nm of torque. The electronically fuel-injected engine comes with a 6-speed transmission with a Ducati quickshifter.

Ducati Multistrada V2 – Mechanical Specifications

The Ducati Multistrada V2 comes with a tubular trellis frame that rides on a fully adjustable 48mm USD fork with electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment. On the rear, the bike gets a fully adjustable monoshock with electronic compression and rebound. Braking power comes with 320mm semi-floating discs on the front and 265mm on the rear.
