Ducati reopens Museum, but factory visits suspended

Ducati is reopening the Ducati Museum and the Fisica in Moto educational laboratory of the Borgo Panigale factory, for visitors on 4th of July 2020 which is the 94th anniversary of the founding date of the iconic Italian brand. The Ducati Museum and Fisica in Moto Laboratory will be combined with motorcycle and e-bike rides experiences to various points of interests around the Italian city. 

Visits to the Ducati Museum and Fisica in Moto Laboratory were temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 CoronaVirus pandemic and the brand has announced the reopening will be in a phased manner. Visits to the Ducati Museum and the educational laboratory will be limited to Saturday and Sunday until 30th of September, with exception of the weeks from 3 to 9 August and from 17 to 23 August, where visits on weekdays will also be possible.

As part of their safety protocol, Ducati will only be allowing a maximum of 7 people per turn who book and purchase the ticket online from the dedicated website and visits are scheduled every 15 minutes from 9.00 am to 18.00. It is important to note that visits to the factory remain suspended for safety reasons and the brand will be making available a new virtual tour accessible from Ducati’s official website that allows visitors to virtually go inside the production lines. 

To visit the Museum and a guided tour of the Fisica in Moto Laboratory, a single ticket for visitors can be availed from EUR 25 which includes admission to both the Ducati Museum and the Fisica in Moto Laboratory which offers a unique experience of the world of motors, laws of physics and the history Borgo Panigale headquartered motorcycle manufacturer, Ducati. 

In view of safety, Ducati all visitors will always have to always keep social distancing of at least 1 metre and compulsorily wear a surgical mask, for the entire period of stay within the company area. In case the visitor does not have a mask, it will be provided by the museum staff. Ducati has also capped the maximum duration of visit, which is now 45 minutes at the Museum and 45 minutes at the Fisica in Moto Laboratory, a total of one and half hours, to ensure greater availability for visitors and avoid gatherings. 

Ducati is also offering a new “Experiences” in combination with the Museum and Fisica in Moto Laboratory visits which includes discovering the tradition and beauty of Emilia-Romagna area, a short and a long tour to visit the city centre of Bologna and historical monuments of the Bolognese hills on a Ducati Scrambler e-bike accompanied by E-xplora certified National MTB Academy guide or by motorbike divided over several days by renting a Ducati to travel to experience the Apennine landscape or experience the Romagna Riviera, via alternate routes enjoyed by the bike.
