Italian bike maker Ducati has announced a slew of launches for India. The company will launch nine new bikes this year. The new Ducati Panigale V4R will go on sale from a price starting at INR 69.99 lakh. Panigale is the flagship sports bike of the Italian bike brand.
The bike will be brought in via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route, and expect only the hardcore-st of riders to even think about purchasing this machine.
Further, the bike maker will also expand its presence in India by launching two new dealerships. These new models, first unveiled at the Ducati World Premiere 2023 include the like of Panigale V4 R, Streetfighter V4 SP2, Monster SP, Diavel V4, Multistrada V4 Rally, Scrambler Full Throttle 2G, Scrambler Icon 2G, Scrambler Nightshift 2G and the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini.
The Panigale V4 R is actually a track bike that has been made road-legal. It is one of those rare performance bikes that can be driven on public roads yet offer the same performance as dedicated track bikes.
Coming to features of the bike, the Panigale V4 R gets nothing but the best. Ducati has offered multiple riding and power modes, cornering ABS, traction control system, wheelie control, slide and engine braking control. The electronic kit also includes an auto tyre calibration. It gets power launch, all-around LED lights, GPS module for lap timer, Ohlins steering damper amongst others. With a range of weight saving measures, the bike weighs just 193 kg. It gets forged wheels and carbon fibre mudguards.
Ducati has equipped the Panigale V4R with a 998 cc engine. This is one of the most powerful road bikes on the Earth. This bike puts out 221 BHP @ 15,250 rpm and a max torque of 112 Nm @ 11,500 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed race gearbox with Ducati quickshift.
