Ducati India has launched the new Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak edition in the Indian market priced at INR 21.42 lakh ex-showroom. This Pikes Peak model of the Multistrada will be available in limited numbers and is inspired from the American hill climb race in Colorado.
Based on the Multistrada 1260 S, the Pikes Peak edition is powered by the 1262cc, Euro 4 compliant, Ducati Testastretta DVT motor producing 158 HP of power and 129.5 Nm of torque with a different front end geometry and longer swingarm. The bike gets new race livery, new forged aluminium wheels which are lighter, Ohlins front fork, Ohlins TTX36 rear monoshock, different seat upholstery, Termignoni exhaust, carbon fibreglass windscreen, carbon fibre mudguard and air intake cover and Pikes Peak decal.
In terms of features, the bike carries forward the likes of Cornering ABS< DTC, DWC, Cornering Lights, Slipper Clutch, IMU, Hill Hold, and riding modes.
Bookings are open for the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak and deliveries will commence in the coming weeks.
