Celebrating 25 years of the Monster, Ducati India has introduced the Monster 797+ in India. An updated version of the Monster 797, this product has been priced at no additional cost, and is available for INR 8.03 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Monster 797+ comes with a few additional features and rivals the likes of Triumph Street Triple, Kawasaki Z900 & the likes.
The Ducati Monster 797+ gets a small front fly screen, passenger seat cowl matching the body colour. That’s it. Nothing else has changed. Rest of the Monster remains as a 797. The Monster 797+ is available across all Ducati dealerships, and is not really a limited edition model.
Powering the Monster 797+ is a 803cc, L-Twin motor producing 72 BHP of power and 67 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. Power and torque figures are much lower compared to competition.
Ducati also recently launched the Monster 821 in India priced at INR 9.51 lakh.
