Ducati India has launched the new Streetfighter V4 2023 in India with a starting price of INR 24,62,400 ex-showroom. The MY23 Ducati Streetfighter V4 is available in two variants. The base Streetfighter V4 comes only in the “Ducati Red” colour option with the INR 24.62 lakh ex-showroom price tag. The MY23 Ducati Streetfighter V4 S version will be available in two colours – the “Ducati Red” at INR 27.80 lakh ex-showroom and “Grey Nero” at the price of INR 28 lakh ex-showroom, India.
Powering the Ducati Streetfighter V4 is a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. The liquid-cooled engine produces 208 Hp of power and 123 Nm of torque. Ducati has revised the Desmosedici engine and calibrated it to match a larger diameter silencer outlet. The new outlet has been introduced to reduce the exhaust back pressure. The motorcycle also comes with the clutch cover of the Panigale V4, that allows easier access to dry clutch and the clutch cover protection.
The new Streetfighter V4 also follows the evolution of the Panigale V4 family. This includes the includes the Front Frame
and single-sided swingarm, both in aluminium. The motorcycle also comes with upside-down fork and mechanically adjustable shock absorber on the standard version of the Streetfighter V4. On the other hand, the Streetfighter V4 S gets semi-active Ohlins suspension – NIX30 upside-down 43 mm fork and TTX36 shock absorber with SmartEC 2.0 interface.
In the electronics department, the new Streetfighter V4 comes with a brand-new Wet Riding Mode. The motorcycle also gets a lithium-ion battery for the S version as standard which is 1.7 kg lighter than the previous one. The dashboard is also revised with new graphics and offers simpler views. The “Track Evo” display mode has also been added replicating the MotoGP Desmosedici race bike.
Ducati has also added the new Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO 2 software to the 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4. It also offers a new strategy for the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS). In addition to this, the motorcycle also comes with an updated cooling fan control strategy, offering greater thermal comfort. Ducati has also revised the weight distribution and positioned the swingarm pivot 4 mm higher than the Panigale V4 which offers an anti-squat action.
