Ducati launches Diavel V4 at INR 25.91 lakh, Ranveer Singh as brand ambassador

Ducati has launched the Diavel V4 in India. This bike will retail at INR 25.91 lakh (ex-showroom). The highlight this time around is the new engine.

In terms of looks, the bike can be said to have an aggressive design. It had LED headlamps and LED DRLs integrated into it. There are large air intakes on both sides. The rider gets a 5-sinch digital instrument cluster which offers three power modes and four rising modes.

Based on an aluminium monocoque chassis, the Ducati Diavel V4 comes with adjustable suspension all around. The front unit consists of 50mm upside-down front forks while the rear unit is a single monoshock. BRaking setup consists of dual 330 mm discs at the front along with a single rear disc. The Diavel V4 uses Brembo Stylema callipers.

Ducati has equipped this cruiser bike with aluminium alloys with machined spokes on them.

Safety features include a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, cruise control and a quick-shifter.

The bike will now come with the 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine. It replaces the older L-twin Testastretta unit. Power numbers on this bike read as 168 BHP @ 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm @ 7,500 rpm.

Ducati’s new brand Ambassador – Ranveer Singh

Ducati has also signed up Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as the brand ambassador for Ducati India. He will be taking part in the bikemaker’s experiential events including Bharat GP, MotoGP races in the Asia-Pacific region and the World Ducati Week.

Ducati Monster 30 Anniversario Edition

Meanwhile, Ducati has unveiled the Monster 30 Anniversario edition in the international markets. This unique model celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the Monster brand. Ducati will produce only 500 units of this bike. In terms of design, this limited edition is based on the regular Ducati Monster. However, it comes with the Tricolour 30th Anniversary livery. This is inspired from the previous sporty Monsters.
