Ducati launches DesertX Rally in India at INR 23,70,800

Ducati India has launched the much-anticipated DesertX Rally in India. The DesertX Rally, a high-performance off-road motorcycle, is priced at INR 23,70,800 (ex-showroom).

The DesertX Rally is designed to conquer the toughest challenges and push riders beyond every limit. Born in the desert and raised off-road, the DesertX Rally is equipped with professional off-roading equipment, ready to accompany riders on their most extreme adventures.

Superior Off-Road Kit

The DesertX Rally boasts heightened off-road performance with top-notch componentry. It features race-spec equipment, including a Pro KYB suspension with increased travel, greater ground clearance, dedicated wheels, and reinforced components for extreme off-road use. The bike offers an additional 20 mm of suspension travel, for a total of 250 mm at the front and 240 mm at the rear. This significantly improves the bike’s ability to handle big jumps, as well as rocky and sandy terrain.

The DesertX Rally is more efficient off-road thanks to the new wheels that are lighter and more technical. They flaunt stronger and lighter Takasago Excel rims, carbon steel spokes, and lightened billet aluminium hubs. The front wheel retains its 21”x2.15” size, while the rear is narrower than that of DesertX, measuring 18”x4”.

Robust and Resilient Design

The DesertX Rally features mass-coloured plastics and adhesive PVC graphics for greater resistance. This robust sports-tool instils safety and proficiency on any terrain. Visually, the DesertX Rally looks markedly different from the DesertX, with a high-mount front mudguard and the 910 mm rally seat. The red and white colour combination, including the red paint on the subframe, makes the DesertX Rally quite the looker.

Power and Electronics

The DesertX Rally is powered by a 937cc, L-twin engine that produces 108 bhp at 9,250rpm and 92 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. As for the electronics, the DesertX Rally is loaded with multi-level traction control, ride modes, ABS modes and more.
