The brand says that the treatment is proven to be effective against SARS and other droplet-based viruses but does not mention if it particularly works on the novel Coronavirus Disease as its name suggests that it should protect against the droplet-based COVID-19 virus. Droom Corona Shield treatment for automobiles claims to create an extra level of hygiene with a microbial reduction rate of 99.99%. The treatment uses a polymerized bonding technology that is effective against harmful microbes and works by killing and inhibiting microorganisms such as Bacteria, Algae, Yeast, Mold and Mildew.

The Droom Corona Shield treatment uses technology from a leading American company which has a full-spectrum antimicrobial liquid formulation that has claims of long term durability and stability. The active ingredient in the disinfectant forms a protective layer that bonds with the coated surface on a molecular level and is positively charged. Bacteria which are negatively charged by nature are attracted toward these surfaces and upon contact get electrocuted and their cell membrane ruptures killing them instantly. The charge-disruption method of killing the bacteria further helps eliminate odour and stains by breaking down the microbial cells through a process called Lysis.

To protect yourself against COVID-19, we at Shifting-Gears.com strongly suggest that individuals follow the advice of local health care and authorities, regularly & thoroughly wash hands with soap & water, cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue, avoid unnecessary contact with others, regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as mobile phones, keyboards, doorknobs, switches, counter-tops, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc and thoroughly cook meat and egg products before consumption.

In case you feel sick, stay at home, avoid contact with others, avoid contact with pets, contact health care personnel or a Doctor, use a separate bathroom if possible, do not use public transportation, do not visit public places, wear a face mask, monitor your symptoms and follow instructions from your healthcare provider.
