Now get fuel delivered directly to your doorstep. Yes, you read it correctly, ‘The Fuel Delivery’ will bring fuel just like how you order food and online products. The app-based door-to-door fuel delivery service now announces its start of operation in Mumbai. With this, the startup aims to cater to the sectors like real estate, hospitals, offices, schools, colleges, banks and more.

The Fuel Delivery Leveraging The New Age Tech

The startup mentioned that it is using all the latest technology like IoT to provide the best customer experience. Customers will need to place an order from a mobile app with basic details like name, address and contact number. All the delivery vehicles are also equipped with the latest tech which helps the customers to track their order in real-time. State-owned oil company IOCL, tied up with the startup under ‘All India Business Agreement’. This partnership will enable the startup to deliver diesel anywhere in the country.

Fuel Delivery Business In India

The startup ensures its petrol tankers are compliant with the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation standards. Currently, The Fuel Delivery is delivering orders worth more than 100 thousand litres per month/per tanker in Delhi and Mumbai. Recently, the fuel demand is witnessing a dip given the current lockdown scenario. But, once the momentum picks up pace, the fuel demand will again get back to normal. The oil companies anticipate that this door-to-door fuel delivery will become worth more than INR 2,000 Crore in the next 2 years.

There are plans to introduce this service to more cities in the near future. The company mentioned that they will start from services in Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai soon. The rising cases of Covid-19 in India are quite alarming compelling the citizens to stay at home. Many automotive companies namely MG, Honda, Hero MotoCorp and more, announced the temporary closure of their manufacturing facilities. With the help of this service, customers can avail of doorstep fuel delivery with proper social distancing.
