Dominar 400 – A Brief Overview

The motorcycle made its entry into the Indian market back in 2016 with a lot of high hopes. The initial iteration was not perfect, and then Bajaj worked on ironing the creases and came up with an update in 2019. Now with more customers’ feedback, Bajaj will introduce its best Dominar in 2021. The main key additions are factory fitted accessories. The list includes a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, crash protection for the radiator, engine sump guard and an aluminium top box rack. Furthermore, the motorcycle also now gets an aluminium mobile phone mount and a handy USB charger near it.

Bajaj Dominar 400 – Technical Information

Powering the motorcycle is a 373 cc, single-cylinder engine that outputs 35 PS and 35 Nm. With these figures, the motorcycle can breach the ton figure from a standstill in less than 9 seconds. Braking power comes from disc set up both at the front and rear. Other key highlights include 17-inch alloys, Dual channel ABS, and a gas-charged monoshock. Mileage is where the Dominar scores quite lowly, but that is understood given the powerful engine and the chassis of the motorcycle. In terms of safety, Dominar gets dual-channel ABS with a full LED headlamp setup.
