DICV (Daimler India Commercial Vehicles) announces the opening of its vaccination centre for the local community. The vaccination centre located in Oragadam Plant will remain open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 AM till 5:00 PM. The vaccination booth has a refreshment area along with a post-vaccination lounge. This facility can seat 300 people maintaining social distancing all at once. The rising cases of Covid-19 in the country are quite alarming. Thus, the Central Government is pushing the citizens to take the Covid-19 vaccination, which will help flatten the curve rapidly.

The Vaccination Process And Eligibility

The citizens interested to take the Covid-19 vaccination will have to first register themselves at the government’s Co-WIN website. Currently, the registration is open for all citizens of 18 years old and above. DICV confirmed that the vaccination would start once the doses are available. To ensure a smooth and stress-free process, trained personnel from private hospitals and government health centres will undertake the entire process. Interestingly, DICV also mentioned that it plans to give free vaccines to truck drivers of all brands. DICV will continue offering this vaccination centre as long as necessary and help the citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
