Check out this beautiful Aston Martin V12 Speedster DBR1

Aston Martin unveils a special variant of the V12 Speedster. This special edition will pay tribute to the DBR1. Back in 1959, the DBR1 claimed the victory at the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans. Then the car went on to win at the 1,000 Km of Nurburgring in 1957, 1958, and 1959. The British luxury carmaker mentions that only 88 of the V12 Speedster will hit the roads. This limited edition model will grab the attention of the buyers looking to buy a special and eye-catchy trim of the V12 Speedster.

How Is It Different From The Regular Trim?

From the images, it is pretty clear Aston Martin added some special touches. The most prominent one being the paint, which is the automaker’s iconic Racing Green finish. The Clubsport white pinstripes and a Satin Silver anodized grille with lipstick graphic make the car look quite sporty. The company claims that the exterior detail of the DBR1 specification takes close to 50 hours to finish which makes it one of the most special Aston Martin ever. Other than these there are few other differentials that set it apart from the regular trim. This includes the 21-inch centre-lock wheels, carbon fibre accents in the interiors and more.

Engine And Performace Figures

Matching the exciting exterior design, Aston Martin is using a powerful 5.2-litre engine to haul the V12 Speedster. This twin-turbocharged engine makes 690 HP of power and 752 Nm of torque. The gearbox is a ZF 8-speed automatic coupled with a limited-slip differential that drives the rear wheels. The car can do a 0 to 100 kmph sprint in just 3.5 seconds and maxes out at a top speed of 300 kmph. The cockpit inspired layout with contoured sports seats, makes it one of the most striking sports car. Flat-bottom steering with paddle-shifters makes it easy for quick and fast gearshifts. The regular Aston Martin V12 Speedster retails at GBP  765,000. But, the DBR1 special edition’s price is not out yet.
