Toyota has unveiled its latest creation, the X-Van Gear concept, at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, alongside another innovative concept, the Global Hiace BEV Concept. Toyota X-Van Gear : More Details

The X-Van Gear, measuring 4,695 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width, and 1,855 mm in height, features a unique sliding door design for both front and rear entrances. Remarkably, the absence of B-pillars enhances the ease of entry and exit for passengers. The doors, seamlessly integrated into the headlamp and tail lamp assemblies, provide a sleek appearance. SUV-inspired black plastic cladding adorns the wheel arches, sills, bumpers, and front and rear fascia, emphasizing the vehicle’s rugged outdoor appeal. Additionally, a roof rack adds practical storage space atop the vehicle.

Inside the cabin, the X-Van Gear boasts a flexible three-row seating layout. The front passenger seat is versatile, capable of swiveling to face other passengers or sliding rearwards to create a spacious 1-3-2 seating arrangement. The middle row bench offers further adaptability, allowing seat backs to fold flat, transforming into a convenient table. This lounge-like setup facilitates comfortable interactions between front and third-row occupants.

Toyota’s X-Van Series : More Details & Powertrain

The X-Van Gear concept is part of Toyota Auto Body’s X-Van series, comprising the X-Van Core and the X-Van Tool concepts. Each variant offers distinct storage solutions within the shared bodyshell. Although specific details about the powertrain have not been disclosed, the X-Van Gear concept stands out for its innovative design and versatile interior, making it an exciting addition to Toyota’s lineup.
