Written by News Team

Audi has expanded its Q8 model range with the introduction of the new RS Q8 and an even more formidable sibling, the RS Q8 performance. Both models will be available from June 27 in international markets.

Power and Performance

The RS Q8 already impressed with its robust 441 kW (600 PS) and 800 Nm of torque. Now, Audi has raised the bar with the RS Q8 performance, which boasts an incredible 471 kW (640 PS) and 850 Nm of torque. This makes it the most powerful series-produced combustion engine in Audi Sport GmbH’s illustrious history. The RS Q8 performance rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.6 seconds, shaving two-tenths off the RS Q8’s already rapid 3.8 seconds

Both models house a twin-turbocharged V8 under the hood, delivering extraordinary driving dynamics. The electronically limited top speed is 250 km/h, but with the dynamic package plus, the RS Q8 can reach up to 305 km/h.

Design and Customization

Drawing cues from the recently refreshed Q8, the RS Q8 and RS Q8 performance feature a new front apron with prominent air intakes and a distinctive honeycomb grille. The performance model differentiates itself further with matte gray exterior mirrors and front spoiler elements.

Audi offers a plethora of customization options, including new paint finishes like Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red. The performance model also features unique matte gray accents, giving it an unmistakable presence on the road.

Interior and Equipment

Inside, the RS Q8 models offer a range of RS design packages in red, gray, or blue, with the blue package exclusive to the RS Q8 performance. These packages feature contrasting stitching, premium materials, and a host of decorative inlays, including matte brushed aluminum and gray oak.

Optional 23-inch light-alloy wheels, available in several finishes, add both style and performance. The RS Q8 performance can also be fitted with high-performance Pirelli P Zero 295/35 R23 tyres for enhanced grip and handling.

Breaking Records

The RS Q8 performance has earned the title of the fastest SUV on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife, completing the 20.832-kilometer track in just 7:36.698 minutes.
