KTM has recently unveiled its new 2023 450 Rally Replica. The new Rally Replica is the closest a production motorcycle can get to a factory motorcycle. The new 450 Rally Replica is one of the best tools out there to take on the most gruesome terrains and intense rallying.
KTM will sell the 2022 450 Rally Replica in very limited numbers. Only 80 units of the exclusive machine will be up for grabs worldwide. The limited edition comes with a fixed price tag of EUR 25,900 (excluding VAT & shipping). The deliveries for the model will start from September 2022. In addition, a service and support package will also be available for a limited number of riders at the Dakar Rally for all KTM Rally models. However, it will be available at an additional cost.
KTM has developed the bike using feedback from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Toby Price, Matthias Walkner and Sam Sunderland. The Austrian brand says the model is now synonymous with rally competition. Furthermore, KTM says the bike is READY TO RACE straight out of its crate. The brand designed the bike to allow rally racers from across the world to push their limits.
Powering the 450 Rally Replica is a 449.3cc SOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder fuel-injected motor. KTM has not disclosed power figures, but we expect it to be around 60 PS. The engine uses Keihin fuel management, and the fuel maps are also optimised for better power delivery. The bike also features a premium-quality Akrapovic exhaust system.
The 450 Rally Replica also uses a Pankl transmission and is also the same spec as the factory racing bike. The gear ratios are also identical to the factory-spec bike. Furthermore, similar to the factory-spec bike, it uses a chrome-moly tubular steel frame.
The motorcycle uses a state-of-the-art 48 mm closed cartridge WP XACT Pro forks at the front. The forks also utilise a sophisticated Cone Valve technology. At the rear, it uses a fully-adjustable WP XACT PRO shock. The front gets 305 mm, and the rear 300 mm of wheel travel. The ground clearance is 312 mm and has a seat height of 960 mm.
The bike also has a self-supporting 16-litre fuel tank that doubles up as the subframe. The total fuel capacity of the 450 Rally Replica is 33 litres. The dry weight of the 450 Rally Replica is just 139 kg.
