Check out Ducati’s ‘Electric Scooter’

Ducati has unveiled its first electric scooter which is based on the Super Soco. The scooter is a special edition of the existing CUx model which has been developed by Super Soco. The scooter features LED headlights and taillights and an LCD instrument console with smartphone integration system. The scooter has a smart keyless system, Anti-theft alarm, and more. The Ducati edition CUx comes in a red and white Ducati livery.

The powertrain on the scooter is a 2788W Bosch electric motor with FOC Vector 3.0 power management system with a maximum torque of 115 Nm. The batter is a 30ah lithium-ion battery which can deliver a range of 75-80 km on a single charge. The scooter can do a top speed of 45 kmph. The battery can be removed for charging and takes about 8 hours to fully charge using a home socket.

The exterior dimensions of the scooter are as follows:-

  • Length = 1782mm
  • Width = 318mm
  • Height = 1087mm
  • Wheelbase = 1320mm
  • Seat height = 720mm
  • Ground clearance = 140mm

The Ducati CUx scooter is priced at GBP 2299 in the UK. As of now, the scooter is not available in India. It is speculated that Ducati will be developing a big electric bike soon.
