CFMoto has revealed the 800NK. This is the Chinese two-wheeler maker’s brand new middle-weight streetfighter. Here are some more details about this bike.
As apparent in the images, the body of the 800NK can be described as young and aggressive. The bike gets a distinct front end with an LED projector and daytime running lights (DRL). The fuel tank design is sculpted and features chiselled shrouds. Towards the back, the tail lights give a sporty appeal to the motorbike. The looks are further enhanced by the upswept factory exhaust.
The front suspension gets adjustable forks while the rear consists of a monoshock. The front wheel gets dual discs while the rear comes with a single unit. The braking equipment is procured from J.Juan. The bike gets all-round LED lighting as well as a vertically stacked TFT display for the rider.
Coming to the powertrain of this middle-weight streetfighter, CFMoto has sourced the engine from the KTM 790 Duke. This parallel-twin, liquid engine produces 100.8 BHP and 81 Nm of peak torque.
Rider aids on the bike include traction control, ride modes and ABS amongst others.
AS expected, the bike would initially be launched in the European markets followed by other locations. It will head against the likes of the Triumph Street Triple, KTM 790 Duke and Ducati Monster amongst others. That said, don’t get your hopes too high for an Indian launch anytime soon.
In other news, CFMoto has updated its 800MT with a sporty makeover. With some subtle changes, CFMoto is calling it the 800MT Sport R. Using expertise gained from their Moto3 racing team, the Chinese firm has given the motorcycle a host of changes. This includes an uprated suspension and brakes and a pair of Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres fitted to 17-inch rims both front and rear.
