CFMoto, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, has taken the wraps off its latest creation—the 500SR Voom. This neo-retro sportbike combines classic styling cues from the 1980s and 1990s with modern engineering, resulting in a head-turning machine that promises both aesthetics and performance.
The CFMoto 500SR Voom draws design inspiration from iconic sports bikes of the past, such as the Honda CBR900RR and the Kawasaki ZXR750. It’s a refreshing departure from the current trend of sharp angles and aggressive cuts. Instead, the 500SR Voom embraces smooth, curved lines reminiscent of the golden era of motorcycling.
While the 500SR Voom will initially be available only in China, there’s speculation that it might eventually find its way to other global markets. An India launch remains uncertain, but this model could pave the way for other manufacturers to explore low-capacity, four-cylinder two-wheelers.
