The CFMoto, a global motorcycle brand from China made its debut in India today in association with the Indian arm of the company AMW Motorcycles, a Bengaluru based company, and introduced their much-awaited motorcycle line-up for India which includes four motorcycles – 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT.
The bikes will be designed in Austria and manufactured in China. CFMoto will bring the motorcycles to India via the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route and assemble them at the AMW Motorcycle’s plant near Bengaluru which has an initial production capacity of 10,000 units per annum.
CFMoto 300NK – Powered by a 294.2cc single-cylinder 4-valve DOHC engine that produces 34 PS of power and 20.5 Nm of torque coupled to a 6-speed transmission. The 300NK features a street fighter design and gets full LED headlights, turn Indicators, dual riding modes and a colour TFT instrument console. Mechanically the bike gets a trellis frame, large disc brakes on both front and rear equipped with an ABS unit.
CFMoto 650NK – 650NK also comes in a streetfighter design and gets a muscular tank with a sharp tail section, large tank shrouds, dual disc brakes on the front and a single unit on the rear equipped with ABS, conventional telescopic front fork and step-up seats. The engine is powered by a 649.3cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder motor producing 61.1 PS of power and 56 Nm of torque coupled to a 6-speed transmission .
CFMoto 650MT – Powered by a 649.3cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine producing 70.7 PS of power and 62 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This is the adventure tourer iteration from the brand and features a tall windscreen, stacked headlight design single scooped-up seat for a comfortable riding position, upside down front fork, and a large 18-litre fuel tank to boost the riding range.
CFMoto 650GT – Powered by a 649.3cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that develops 62.5 PS of power and 58.5 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The 650 GT is the sports tourer model in the brand’s line-up, designed for long-distance highway touring.
The CFMoto has kept the prices competitive by bringing the bike via the cost-effective CKD route instead of the CBU (completely built-up) route which attracts large amounts in taxes. The CFMoto line-up will be priced at :-
