Castrol has added a new product in its lineup of fully synthetic engine oils, named Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE. Castrol says this latest addition is developed for the 2-wheeler enthusiasts looking at extracting the best out of their motorcycles & scooters. It comes with a 5-in-1 formula that offers smooth riding along with performance. The five key points about Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE are smooth riding, enduring performance, keeping the engine cool, engine reliability and better acceleration.
The development of this new product has been carried out considering the inputs from professional riders and tested under extreme conditions with different parameters. This product is a fully synthetic engine oil and available in a range of choices starting from 10W-40, 10W-50, 15W-50 and 20W-50 for bikes and sports bikes and lastly 5W-40 for scooters.
Castrol confirmed that the POWER1 ULTIMATE will be available at all Castrol Bike points and dealerships. The product will also is available at online stores as well. The pricing for the 800ml pack scooter oil is Rs. 474 while for the 1L pack bike oil it will cost about Rs. 594.
Castrol has a total of three manufacturing plants in India and a large network of 350 distributors having a total of 1,00,000 retail outlets. There is large presence of Castrol outlets in rural areas as well and it directly serves over 3,000 key institutional accounts. Having launched brands such as Castrol CRB, Castrol GTX, and in more recent times power brands like Castrol Activ, Castrol MAGNATEC and Castrol VECTON; Castrol hopes that the POWER1 ULTIMATE engine oil will be another feather in their hat.
Apart from retailing engine oils for cars, bikes and commercial vehicles; Castrol also supplies lubricants for industrial operations. The brand also associates with non-OEM car & bike service shops to increase brand awareness and penetrate further in the market.
