BYD India has expanded its product portfolio today. The Chinese EV manufacturer has officially launched its Sealion 7 electric SUV at Rs 48.90 lakh. Check out the complete details of this new EV SUV below.

BYD’s newest EV offers the best of electric technology. It is equipped with an 82.56 kWh battery pack as standard. BYD is offering the Sealion 7 in two different variants that are called Premium and Performance.
The styling of the Sealion is identical to the BYD Seal sedan. It gets the trademark ocean-inspired design philosophy as it has a sleek design with chiselled body panels. On the inside, it is equipped with premium interiors and high-quality materials.
The features list is also extensive as it offers a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment with a rotating function, wireless phone connectivity, a digital cockpit, a 12-speaker music system, a heads-up display, a panoramic sunroof, and level 2 ADAS functions.
The performance figures of the Sealion 7 are also staggering as it can do 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. It is powered by a 523 bhp and 690 Nm of peak power and torque-producing electric motor (on the Performance variant). The claimed driving range for the Premium variant is 542 km, while the Performance variant can do up to 567 km on a single charge.
The pricing of the Sealion 7 starts from Rs 48.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Premium variant. The top-spec Performance variant is priced at Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
