BYD’s latest update on the Atto 3 might not look substantial in the first go but it surely has become an improved version of the outgoing car. The facelift model has received new bumpers on both ends, making it look more aggressive and identical to the upcoming BYD models. Moreover, it now gets a new LED taillight pattern along with dynamic indicators and redesigned dual-tone alloy wheels.

In order to enhance passenger safety, BYD has now added a new “God’s Eye C” ADAS system. This improved version of the level 2 ADAS is equipped with 3 camera blocks behind the windshield, 4 surround-view cameras, 5 long-range cameras, 5 mm-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and a total of 29 sensors to provide utmost safety to the passengers.

While the interior update details are not available yet, we assume that BYD has also updated the cabin with new features. These new additions might include an updated infotainment system, more wireless connected features for passenger use, and an improved cabin theme.

Powering the Atto 3 is going to be the current battery pack and electric motor combination. The India-spec model is equipped with a 60.5 kWh LFP battery that produces a peak power output of 204 bhp and 310 Nm of peak torque. Due to BYD’s trademark Blade Battery System, the Atto 3 provides a WLTP-claimed driving range of up to 420 km per charge.

For now, the updated model has been revealed in the international market. However, considering that the Indian market is also a priority for the brand now, we anticipate that the facelift model of Atto 3 shall debut in India by mid-2025. The pricing of the new model will be higher than the current car because of the new features.
