BS6 Triumph Street Twin & Speedmaster launched starting at INR 7.45 lakh

Triumph India has launched the BS6 compliant versions of the Triumph Street Twin and the Bonneville Speedmaster at the price starting INR 7.45 lakh and INR 11.34 lakh ex-showroom, respectively. The Triumph Street Twin if configured in the Matte Ironstone or Korosi Red colour schemes, costs INR 13,000 more on the ex-showroom price and the Speedmaster in the two-tone Fusion White & Phantom Black with a Hand-Painted Coachline is pricier by INR 30,000 on top of the ex-showroom price.

The Triumph Street Twin is powered by a BS6 compliant 900cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve SOHC engine with 270-degree crank angle and multipoint fuel injection that produces 65 PS of power and 80 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. 

The Triumph Street Twin is available in three shades – Jet Black, Matte Ironstone and Korosi Red and in terms of its styling the Triumph Street Twin features neo-retro looks and comes with a rounded headlamp, pod-style instruments cluster, pleated seat upholstery, chopped fenders, conventional telescopic suspension, alloy wheels etc. 

The Triumph Speedmaster is powered by a BS6 compliant 1200cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder, 8-valve, SOHC engine with a 270-degree crank angle that produces 76 Hp of power and 106 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission unit. 

The Triumph Speedmaster is available in three shades – Jet Black, Cobalt Blue & Jet Black (Dual Tone) and Fusion White & Phantom Black with a Coachline. The Triumph Speedmaster features a premium timeless design with modern features such as rounded LED headlamps with a detailed nacelle, a black-painted engine with chrome exhausts, heritage styling, chopped fenders, fat tyres and a lot of chrome bits. 

In related news, Triumph also offering free accessories worth INR 60,000 on purchase of select motorcycles from Triumph’s modern-classic series such as the Street Twin, Bonneville T100 & T120 and the Speedmaster. The offer is valid on limited units and for a limited period in the Indian market and can be availed across all Triumph dealerships in India.
