Ducati has launched the Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro at the price of INR 11.95 lakhs and INR 13.74 lakhs respectively ex-showroom pan India. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro is the first BS6 Ducati Scrambler in the Indian market. The brand has also announced that the bookings on both the Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro are now open across all Ducati dealerships across the country.
In terms of design and styling, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro features new two-tone “Ocean Drive” colour scheme, a framed headlight unit with a black metal ‘X’ frame integrated inside the unit, inspired by the protective adhesive tape used in the 70s, soft glowing LED tail lamp unit, LED indicators positioned alongside the headlamps and rear mudguard, a low slung number plate housing and twin-barrel side slung exhaust pipes.
The Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro carries all the features from the 1100 Pro along with a “Matt Black” paint scheme, complemented by side panels sporting a painted 1100 logo. The Sport Pro gets upgraded 45 mm diameter upside-down fork from Ohlins along with a Ohlins rear monoshock. The 1100 Pro on the other features a Marzocchi suspension system at the front and Kayaba at the rear. The 1100 Pro also gets 320 mm double disc with Brembo Braking System with ABS Cornering as standard.
The suspension on the Sport Pro is also tuned for 150 mm of wheel travel allowing the Sport Pro to traverse over rough terrarium with ease. Also, both the models are shod in Pirelli MT60 RS 120/80 ZR 18 tyre at the front and the 180/55 ZR17 tyre at the rear, which have been specially developed for the Scrambler.
Both the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro are powered by a BS6 emission-compliant 1079cc L-Twin-Cylinder air-cooled 2-valves per cylinder with Desmodromic distribution that produces 86 Hp of power and 88.4 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission with hydraulically controlled light action wet multi-plate clutch.
In the electronics package, the Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro feature three riding modes – Active, Journey and City, Cornering ABS and Ducati Traction Control (DTC). The Scrambler also gets new multi-function switchgears, a Ride by Wire throttle and digital instruments cluster.
The booking on both the Scrambler 1100 twins are now open from Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata & Chennai and deliveries will begin immediately.
