Ford Endeavour Sport Edition launched at INR 35.10 lakh

Ford has launched a new special edition Endeavour with new bold and black features called the Ford Endeavour ‘Sport’ Edition at the price of INR 35.10 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Ford Endeavour Sport will be positioned as the top-of-the-line spec trim in the Endeavour line up and comes with a dozen new exterior features and will be available only with an all-wheel-drive or 4X4 driveline.

On the outside, the new Ford Endeavour Sport features the same butch design language but gets new features such as a new ebony black front grille, a new front and rear bumper, skid plates and front fenders get a ebony treatment. The Sport Edition also comes with new smoked headlamp inserts on the all-LED headlamp units that provide 20% greater lighting penetration. 

The ebony black theme continues on the fender grille, side step and the ORVMs. The special edition also comes with a SPORT decal on the doors and the tailgate. The Ford Endeavour Sport also comes with black finish alloy wheels and black roof rails enhancing the black-on-black theme. The Ford Endeavour Sport will be offered in three exterior colour options – Absolute Black, Diffused Silver and Diamond White.

On the inside, the Ford Endeavour features the first-in-class Active Noise Cancellation technology for a silent cabin, a large panoramic sunroof, 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, dual-zone automatic climate control and 8-way power-adjustable driver & front passenger seat. All variants of the Ford Endeavour also come factory-fitted with a cloud-connected device that communicates with vehicle owners in real-time via the FordPassTM smartphone application.

Under the hood, the Ford Endeavour Sport is powered by a new BS6-compliant EcoBlue 2.0-litre EcoBlue turbocharged diesel unit that churns out 170 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque married to the world’s first 10-speed automatic SelectShift transmission. The new Sport variant also features a first-in-segment Terrain Management System (TMS) with four preset modes – Normal, Snow/Mud/Grass, Sand and Rock allowing the Endeavour Sport to traverse rough terrain with ease. 

Ford has chosen to launch the Endeavour Sport on the biannual astronomical alignment of the Sun and Earth when daytime & night time is of equal duration, illustrating a balance between day-to-day routine as well as the adventurous side that enthusiast explore on the weekends.
