Brixton Motorcycles is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated Storr 500 adventure bike in India in early 2025. The Storr 500 is expected to be a game-changer in the adventure bike segment, featuring a powerful 486cc parallel-twin engine that produces 47bhp and 43Nm of torque.
The Storr 500 will compete with popular models like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Benelli TRK 502. It boasts a unique design, inspired by the Husqvarna Norden 900 and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, with a large fuel tank and a distinctive fairing. The bike is equipped with a six-speed gearbox, upside-down front forks, and a linked rear monoshock.
Brixton has been making waves in the Indian market with its recent launches. The company recently introduced four new neo-retro motorcycles in the 500cc and 1200cc range, including the Crossfire 500 XC, Cromwell 1200, and Cromwell 1200 X. These models have been well-received for their stylish design and performance. The Crossfire 500 XC features a rugged design, suitable for off-road adventures, while the Cromwell 1200 series offers a blend of classic styling with modern technology, catering to both urban riders and long-distance travelers.
The Storr 500 is expected to be priced around INR 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option for adventure bike enthusiasts. With its competitive pricing and advanced features, the Storr 500 is likely to capture a significant share of the adventure bike market in India. Brixton’s entry into this segment is a strategic move to capitalize on the growing demand for adventure motorcycles in the country.
The Storr 500 comes with a host of features designed to enhance the riding experience. It includes advanced suspension with upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, ensuring a smooth ride on various terrains. The bike also offers modern electronics such as a full-color TFT display, multiple riding modes, and ABS for enhanced safety. The large fuel tank provides an extended range, making it ideal for long-distance rides.
