Bounce Infinity has announced its new partnership with Greaved Retail. Under this, both the companies will build a strategic partnership wherein Bounce Infinity will provide battery swapping stations for Greaves Electric Vehicles. After this, Greaves Retail becomes the first company to have hopped on to the Bounce Infinity battery-swapping network. Bounce has already identified Bengaluru as its pilot city for the project. In phase 1, the company has put on a target to deploy over 300 charging stations in each of the 10 cities across the country. The presence of battery swapping stations will help Greaves Retail to strengthen its last-mile connectivity.

With the growing number of EVs in the market, the demand for charging stations is quite high. The sales growth we are seeing is not quite resonating with the addition of charging stations. This is something that needs attention, so we have an ample number of charging stations. The increasing number of charging stations will also help customers to reduce their range anxiety. Moreover, the Bounce Battery Swapping solution is a more convenient approach when compared to traditional plug-in charging. These stations will have charged and ready-to-go batteries for the riders. And then they can easily swap with their near-empty batteries in just a matter of minutes.
Once the infrastructure is up and running EV customers wouldn’t have to wait for their 2-Wheelers and 3-Wheelers to charge. Bounce mentioned that the integration has already been completed with Greaves electric scooters. And very soon it will be extended to other models of Greaves. Bounce has a very ambitious plan for the future. In the long run, the company aims to set up battery swapping stations within one kilometre of anywhere in the city. As of now, the company is on target to support over ten lakh scooters in the next 12-24 months. For the infrastructure developed Bounce has teamed up with brands such as Nobroker, Park+, Unigas, Readyassist, Kitchens@, HelloWorld, Goodbox etc.
