Bookings open for new Nissan X-Trail SUV in India

Nissan Motor India (NMIPL) has officially announced the launch of the highly anticipated 4th Generation Nissan X-Trail SUV, marking a significant milestone for the brand in the Indian market. The bookings for this premium urban SUV will commence on 26 July 2024, with a booking amount set at INR 1 lakh. Deliveries are slated to begin in August 2024.

The Nissan X-Trail, a globally recognized model with over 7.8 million units sold across four generations, is now available for Indian customers. This model is renowned for its cutting-edge features and robust design, making it one of the top five bestselling SUVs globally in 2023. The 4th Generation X-Trail is manufactured in Japan and comes equipped with the world’s first production Variable Compression Turbo engine, showcasing Nissan’s innovation in automotive technology.

Key Features and Specifications

The new X-Trail is designed to offer a superior driving experience with its advanced technological features and premium build. Key highlights include:

• Engine and Transmission: The SUV features a 1.5L Petrol Variable Compression-Turbo engine paired with Nissan’s ALiS Mild Hybrid 2WD system and the 3rd Gen XTRONIC CVT powertrain. This combination delivers 163 PS and 300 Nm of torque, balancing power and fuel efficiency seamlessly.
• CVT Technology: Nissan’s advanced XTRONIC CVT with D-Step Logic Control and Paddle Shifters ensures smooth shifting and stronger acceleration, enhancing the driving experience.

Booking Details and Availability

Indian customers can book the new X-Trail starting from 26 July 2024 for INR 1 lakh. The SUV will be available in three colors: Diamond Black, Pearl White, and Champagne Silver. Deliveries are expected to begin in August 2024, promising a premium driving experience for Nissan enthusiasts across the country.
