Bookings open for new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza

Maruti Suzuki announces that bookings are now open for the upcoming 2022 Brezza. The 2022 Brezza is one of the best-selling models in the segment. However, the model has faced stiff competition lately. Hence, the carmaker will update the Brezza with new looks, engines and a lot of technology. In addition to this, the carmaker will also equip the 2022 Brezza with six airbags and ESP. The company also released a new teaser video of the 2022 Brezza, which shows the new electric sunroof.

Interested customers can now pre-book the all-new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza by paying an amount of INR 11,000. Customers can place the bookings by visiting their nearest Maruti Suzuki ARENA dealership or by visiting the official company website. Furthermore, they can also call the company’s toll-free number for additional details.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza – What Do We Know?

The carmaker’s facelift for its compact SUV is highly awaited. From the initial teasers and spy shots, we already know many things that we can expect. The 2022 model will also see a change in its name. Maruti Suzuki has decided to drop the ‘Vitara’ moniker from the title. The looks of the SUV will get a major overhaul and will also get a new LED DRL signature at the front. The headlights also get a twin-pod design. The LED DRLs also double up as the side-turn indicators. The SUV will also be larger than the model it replaces.

The sides will get a lot of body cladding and a new set of alloy wheels. At the same time, the rear-end styling will also be much different. The bumpers will get a redesign and get silver skid plates. The taillights will be much slimmer than before and feature Brezza lettering between them.

The company’s next-gen K-Series engine with Smart Hybrid will power the new model. The 2022 Brezza will share its engine with the recently launched Ertiga and XL6. This motor makes 104 HP and 138 Nm of torque. The previous Brezza was available with a manual and an automatic gearbox. The 2022 Brezza will continue to offer the same. However, one major difference will be the automatic gearbox. As we saw in the XL6 and Ertiga, the company will replace the 4-speed automatic with the new 6-speed torque converter automatic. In addition to this, it will also get paddle shifters. Meanwhile, the manual gearbox will be the same 5-speed unit.
