Bookings open for Kabira KM 3000 & KM 4000 electric motorcycles

Kabira Mobility has teased its upcoming electric range of motorcycles and announced that the new motorcycles will be launch in February 2021. The brand has a successful line up of electric scooters that includes Kollegio, Kollegio Neo, Kollegio Plus, Aetos 100, Intercity Aeolus and Intercity Neo. In addition to the existing line-up, the brand has added the KM3000 and KM 4000 electric motorcycles. 

The Kabira KM 3000 features a supersport design with an aerodynamic body, stepped-up seats, twin headlamps, a windscreen visor, clip-on style handlebars, a chiselled fuel tank, disc brakes on both the front and rear, alloy wheels, telescopic suspension on the front and monoshock on the rear. 

The KM 4000 features a streetfighter design with a muscular appearance, scooped riders seat, a sharp and high-set tail, low-slung headlamps, wide handlebars, sharp LED taillamps, alloy wheels and disc brakes on the front and rear. Both the KM 3000 electric Sportbike and the KM 4000 electric streetfighter are expected to be powered by a DeltaEV Hub Motor a BLDC motor that is expected to propel the motorcycles to a top speed of 125 kmph. The battery is also expected to return an electric riding range of 150 km on a single charge. 

The brand has opened pre-bookings for both the KM 3000 and KM 4000 electric motorcycles in the market the price and full specification of which will be revealed at the time of its launch in February 2021. The Kabira KM 3000 and KM 4000 are said to be Made in India electric motorcycles and are expected to enjoy the benefits of the FAME-II scheme from the Government of India. 

The brand is also expected to introduce road-side assistance for the motorcycles to reduce customer anxiety. The Kabira Mobility range of motorcycles and scooters will be produced at the brand’s manufacturing facility in Goa and Dharwad. The brand has spent 2 years in the research and development of the new motorcycles.
