Jaguar Land Rover have announced that bookings are now open for the F-Type SVR in India. Developed by the brands Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), the F-Type SVR is a performance-spec variant and is now available in India for INR 2.65 crore ex-showroom.
Powering the Jaguar F-Type SVR is a 5.0L, supercharged, V8 petrol motor producing 423 kW of power and 700 Nm of torque which allows the sportscar to sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 322 kmph. The F-Type SVR is available in India as a coupe as well as a convertible body style.
The F-Type SVR comes with SVR performance seats with better lateral support, cooled seat option, magnesium construction of the seats resulting in 8 kg weight reduction. Also, the exhaust is made of Titanium and Inconel which results in 16 kg weight drop compared to the standard variants. The SVR sports 20″ alloy wheels which are forged and dropped 13.8 kg of overall weight.
The F-Type SVR comes with a V-Max mode which allows for drag reduction. The Pirelli P-Zero tyres are 10mm wider than standard variants offering better grip and handling.
