Bookings open for BS6 Scrambler Icon & Icon Dark, Ducati India will launch 12 bikes in 2021

Ducati is scheduled to launch 12 new motorcycles in the year 2021. The launches will include the Multistrada V4, Streetfighter V4, Monster, SuperSport 950 and the Scrambler Nightshift along with updated BS6 compliant models. Currently, Ducati has only 3 models to offer in India namely; Panigale V2, Scrambler 1100 Pro, and the Sports Tourer Multistrada 950S. All the three are BS-6 compliant models launched last year in quick succession and Ducati is expected to start the year 2021 with the launch of the MY2021 Scrambler Icon. The Panigale V2 has proved to be a successful product for Ducati India as the maximum sales for the year 2020 were contributed by the same.

To increase the footfalls to the showroom Ducati India has initiated the ‘Ducati Cares Program’ which is aimed towards welcoming customers back to the showrooms. This initiative ensures that the showroom is following all the Covid related guidelines and protocols and win the confidence of the customers so that they would visit the showrooms and check out the motorcycles. Ducati also confirmed that they have started taking bookings for the BS6 Scrambler Icon and Scrambler Icon Dark. The booking amount as confirmed by Ducati is INR 50,000.

Most of the launches were planned for the year 2020 but it was postponed due to the lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Not just Ducati, this has happened with most of the automotive companies across the globe. The Streetfighter V4, Panigale V4, and the recently revealed Multistrada V4 are expected to be launched in mid-2021 followed by the Hypermotard 950 RVE, Supersport 950, Monster, Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro, Scrambler Desert Sled, and Scrambler Night Shift later at the end of 2021.

As the days pass on and the pandemic stabilizes, people are getting back to their normal daily routine and thus Ducati will also resume its activities like DRE Dream Tour, Track Days, Off-Road Days, Individual Racetrack Training Session which was a halt to curb the spread of coronavirus. But Ducati confirmed that it will take all the necessary precautions while conducting the events.
