Kawasaki has announced the launch of the MY19 KLX140G motorcycle in India. This is just a model year change, and is a light weight trail riding two-wheeler. With a claimed 30 pound less in the overall weight, compared to other off-road bikes with full-size wheels, the KLX140G promises a lot of fun.
The KLX140G is a beginner motorcycle for those who want to explore and exploit trail riding. This dirt bike saw a positive response in 2018, and hence the brand is keeping it on sale for 2019 as well.
Powering the KLX140G is a 144cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder motor matched to a 5-speed gearbox. With a kerb weight of 99 kg, and fuel tank capacity of 5.8L, this bike is ideal for newbies. It measures 2005mm in length, 790mm in width and 1135mm in height. Wheelbase is 1330mm, ground clearance of 315mm and a seat height of 860mm.
For 2019, there are no mechanical changes to the KLX140G.
