Honda Cars India LTD., (HCIL) announced that the company has organised a ‘Body & Paint Service Camp’ for Honda customers, through which they will be able to give their Honda cars the same look as they were before the lockdown. The new customer-centric initiative started from 14th September 2020 and will continue till 26th September 2020 at all authorized Honda service outlets across India.
Under the Body & Paint Service Camp, Honda will offer its customers multiple benefits and attractive offers on customer paid Body and Paint Repair in terms of labour and select parts such as Bumpers, Windshield and Side Mirror, Interior Enrichment, Paint Treatment & Beautification and Overall car sanitization. Additionally, the brand is also offering free services like Top Wash and Body & Paint evaluation and additional Battery Buy Back offer during this initiative.
HCIL has also announced that the brand will be adhering to all safety measures and guidelines along with social distancing etiquettes to provide the services to the customers safely, as part of the brand’s COVID-19 safety protocol. Honda’s product portfolio in India includes the Honda Jazz, Amaze, WR-V, City, Civic and CR-V, which are all manufactured in India.
In other news, Honda has announced that the brand will continue to sell the 4th generation Honda City in the Indian market. The fourth-generation Honda City will be offered in the SV and V trims only in the manual transmission option, priced at INR 9,29,900 and INR 9,99,900. The brand will be selling both the 4th generation & the 5th generation City concurrently, offering a wider choice to the customers.
HCIL also announced the August 2020 sales report, where the brand recorded monthly domestic sales of 7,509 units in August 2020 with 450 units in export. To put things into perspective, Honda had recorded a total number of 8,291 units of domestic sales in August 2019. The company also announced that since the production resumption in June this year, HCIL has ramped up its monthly domestic despatches with 1,398 units in June 2020 and 5,383 units in July 2020.
